Hadlaub

fl. c. 1300–1340

Johannes Hadlaub, a citizen of Zurich, was a minnesinger of the early fourteenth century associated with the circle that gathered the Codex Manesse.

Two of his songs appear here in Frank C. Nicholson’s translation, Old German Love Songs (1907), made from the minnesingers of the twelfth to fourteenth centuries.
