Hajib ibn Habib

Hajib ibn Habib was of Asad, though the commentators differ about his exact tribe. Marzuqi makes him grandson of Khalid ibn Nadlah, of the Faq'as division.

Ode CX sets out the merits of his horse Thadiq, which the poet's wife urges him to sell.
