Hartwig von Raute

Hartwig von Raute was a minnesinger of the late twelfth century, known from a small group of songs preserved in the great Heidelberg manuscripts.

One of his songs appears here in Frank C. Nicholson’s translation, Old German Love Songs (1907), made from the minnesingers of the twelfth to fourteenth centuries.
