Heinrich von Breslau

Heinrich IV Probus, duke of Silesia and lord of Breslau, was a patron of German poets, and songs are ascribed to him in the Codex Manesse.

One of his songs appears here in Frank C. Nicholson’s translation, Old German Love Songs (1907), made from the minnesingers of the twelfth to fourteenth centuries.
