Huw Morus

Huw Morus (Hugh Morris, "Eos Ceiriog") was a Welsh poet of the seventeenth century from the Ceiriog valley, a Royalist who wrote satire, love lyrics and, late in life, religious verse.

Two of his poems, "The Bard's Death-Bed Confession" and "Quick, Death!", are given in English verse by Alfred Perceval Graves in A Celtic Psaltery (1917).
