Lionel Johnson
Lionel Johnson (1867–1902) was an English poet and critic associated with the Rhymers' Club and the Decadent movement of the 1890s.
A convert to Catholicism, his spare, disciplined verse turned repeatedly to faith, monastic ideals, and the pull of dissipation he struggled against.
