James Joyce

James Joyce (1882–1941) was an Irish novelist, author of Ulysses and Finnegans Wake, who also wrote lyric verse. His first book of poems, Chamber Music, appeared in 1907.

The one poem here, I Hear an Army, is taken from Untermeyer's Modern British Poetry (1920).
