Khidash

Khidash ibn Zuhair was of the 'Amir ibn Sa'sa'ah. Lyall says his ode relates to the fourth battle of the second war of the Fijar, at 'Ukadh, in which the Quraish leaders are said to have chained themselves to prevent flight.

He cites the poet's father, Zuhair ibn Rabi'ah, as killed in the course of the same war.
