König Konrad der Junge

Konrad der Junge, known as Conradin, was the last Hohenstaufen king and was executed at Naples in 1268 at the age of sixteen; songs are ascribed to him in the Codex Manesse.

One of his songs appears here in Frank C. Nicholson’s translation, Old German Love Songs (1907), made from the minnesingers of the twelfth to fourteenth centuries.
