Andrew Lang
Andrew Lang (1844–1912) was a Scottish man of letters, folklorist, and translator, remembered today chiefly for his coloured Fairy Books but also a prolific poet.
His verse favours French forms revived by the 1870s ballade craze, along with translations and tributes to French and English poets he admired.
