Li P'in

Li P'in was a T'ang poet who took his degree at the government examinations in AD 854. His poem here is the homecomer who dares not ask for news of his family.

The poem here is Witter Bynner and Kiang Kang-hu's versions in The Jade Mountain (1929), given with the poet's name as spelled in that book.
