George MacDonald
George MacDonald (1824–1905) was a Scottish minister turned author, celebrated for fantasy novels such as Phantastes and The Princess and the Goblin, and a lifelong writer of devotional and reflective verse.
His poems return often to faith, fatherhood, nature, and the soul's struggle toward trust in a loving God.
