Norman Macleod

Norman Macleod (1812–1872) was a Church of Scotland minister, born at Campbeltown, who served the Barony Church in Glasgow, edited the magazine Good Words, and was Moderator of the General Assembly in 1869. He was a Gaelic speaker and a much-loved figure in the Highlands.

Lyra Celtica prints his 'Farewell to Fiunary', named for the Morvern parish where he spent part of his youth.
