Miu Hsi
Miu Hsi died in AD 245. His “Bearer’s Song” belongs to the tradition of the Han burial songs, sung at funerals, and is spoken in the voice of the dead man.
The poems here are Arthur Waley’s version in A Hundred and Seventy Chinese Poems (1918), given with the poet’s name as spelled in those books.
