Henry Newbolt
Henry Newbolt (1862–1938) was an English poet best known for patriotic and naval verse such as Vitài Lampada and Drake's Drum, written to celebrate duty, empire, and the sea.
His confident public rhetoric made him one of the most widely recited poets of the pre-1914 era.
