Robert Henry Newell

Robert Henry Newell (1836–1901), who wrote as "Orpheus C. Kerr", was a New York journalist and humorist. He wrote for the New York Mercury and the World, edited Hearth and Home, and made his name with the satirical "Orpheus C. Kerr Papers" (1862–68).

His verse includes "The Palace Beautiful, and Other Poems" (1865) and "Studies in Stanzas" (1882).
