Thomas Noel

Thomas Noel (1799–1861) was an English poet, born at Kirby Mallory, Leicestershire, who died at Brighton. His verse appeared in Rhymes and Roundelays (1841).

He is a different writer from the later poet Roden Noel. His winter song "Old Winter" and the satirical ballad "The Pauper's Drive" were long reprinted in anthologies.
