St. Odo of Cluny
J. M. Neale says the hymn 'Lauda, Mater Ecclesia', written for S. Mary Magdalene's day, was composed by S. Odo of Cluny, one of the brightest lights of that great Monastery, and that it found its way into the York Breviary. He gives no dates for him.
Neale notes that the variation of rhyme occurs in the original. This file gives his single version (1867), which begins 'Exalt, O mother Church, to-day'.
