Posidippus

fl. c. 280 BC

Posidippus, a Macedonian poet of the third century BC, was one of the leading epigrammatists of the early Hellenistic age. His poems range from love epigrams to epitaphs and dedications.

The epigrams here are those that Paton's first volume ascribes to him without qualification; the uncertain ones are filed as anonymous.
