Pythagoras

Paton prints under the name of Pythagoras the one-line epitaph on the tomb of Zeus in Crete; the ascription to the philosopher is traditional but doubtful. Paton's Index of Authors includes the poet among those of Book VII. Paton's index of authors gives no date for the poet.
