Rashid ibn Shihab

6th century

Rashid ibn Shihab was a chief of Yashkur, a branch of Bakr ibn Wa'il, and is said to have borne the burden of numerous ransoms of prisoners, apparently in the time of King 'Amr ibn Hind.

His two pieces relate to an angry contention between Yashkur and the Shaiban under Qais ibn Mas'ud.
