John Reynolds

16th century

John Reynolds is an English poet of the sixteenth century, of whom little is known; the Oxford Book of English Verse places him in that century. He is not to be confused with the Romantic poet John Hamilton Reynolds (1794–1852).

Quiller-Couch’s Oxford Book of English Verse (1900) prints his song “A Nosegay”, in which a lover asks the flowers whether they have seen his mistress.
