Edwin Meade Robinson

Edwin Meade Robinson (1878–1946) was an American newspaper poet and humorist, no relation to Edwin Arlington Robinson. He began writing a daily poem in 1904 and long conducted a column of prose and verse in the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

His books include Mere Melodies (1918) and Piping and Panning (1920), a collection of burlesque and humorous verse admired for its interior rhymes.
