Shen Ch'uan-ch'i
Shen Ch'uan-ch'i was a T'ang poet who took his degree at the government examinations about AD 680 and died about AD 713. His two poems here concern wives left waiting while their husbands serve on the frontier.
The poems here are Witter Bynner and Kiang Kang-hu's versions in The Jade Mountain (1929), given with the poet's name as spelled in that book.
