Susan Marr Spalding

Susan Marr Spalding was born at Bath, Maine, and educated at a young ladies’ seminary. After the death of her parents she went to live with relatives in New York, where she married, and a few years later she settled permanently in Philadelphia.

She published a volume of verse, The Wings of Icarus, and Other Poems (1892). Her birth and death dates are not given in the sources used here.
