Evaleen Stein

Evaleen Stein (1863–1923) was an American poet and writer, also an illuminator of manuscripts, and the author of several books for young readers.

The four poems given here are those that Edmund Clarence Stedman printed under her name in An American Anthology, 1787–1900 (1900).
