Tha'labah ibn Su'air

Lyall says that nothing is known of this poet or his age. He wonders whether he is the Tha'labah ibn Su'air said to have become a Muslim and known Muhammad, though a statement in the scholion makes that impossible.

Only this one ode of his is in the Mufaddaliyat.
