Tsing-nien

Ch’ing dynasty

Tsing-nien is a Chinese poet named in Charles Budd’s Chinese Poems (1912). Budd, who calls the piece a modern poem composed by a successful student, attributes it to a poet of the Ch’ing (his T’sing) dynasty and gives no note for him.

The poems here are Charles Budd’s versions in Chinese Poems (1912), given under the poet’s name as Budd romanises it.
