St. George Tucker

St. George Tucker (1752–1827) was a Bermuda-born American jurist and poet, a law professor at the College of William and Mary and later a judge in Virginia.

Griswold included 1 of his poems in The Poets and Poetry of America (16th edition, Philadelphia: Parry & McMillan, 1855), the anthology from which the poems here are taken.
