Wa'lah ibn al-Harith

Wa'lah ibn al-Harith was of Jarm, a Quda'ite tribe settled in the northern Sarat of the Yaman. Lyall notes that the text calls the author al-Harith ibn Wa'lah, but that the correct name appears to be as given above.

In the battle of al-Kulab the Second he was standard-bearer of the confederacy of Madhhij under 'Abd-Yaghuth.
