Mesech Weare

Mesech Weare (1713–1786) is represented in this archive by verse from Burton E. Stevenson's anthology Poems of American History (1908; revised 1922).

Poems of American History gathers verse on events from the Norse voyages to the Spanish-American War, arranged by historical chapter. The poem here is “The Blasted Herb”; Stevenson's editorial headnotes are not reproduced.
