C. E. S. Wood

C. E. S. Wood (Charles Erskine Scott Wood, 1852–1944) was an American soldier, lawyer and writer, a West Point graduate who practised law in Portland, Oregon.

His long poem The Poet in the Desert (1915) is the best known of his verse.
