Zabban ibn Sayyar

Zabban ibn Sayyar of Fazarah, of the Mazin house, is the Zabban who, according to Lyall, nicknamed al-Hadirah. Lyall introduces his odes with the war of Dahis between the tribes of 'Abs and Dhubyan.

Two of his poems are in the Mufaddaliyat, Odes CII and CIII.
