Antigone

Antigone defies Creon’s edict and buries her brother Polynices, who died attacking Thebes. Condemned to be walled up alive, she hangs herself; Creon’s son Haemon, her betrothed, and then Creon’s wife Eurydice take their own lives, and the king is left to his ruin.
