Emare
Emare, daughter of the emperor Artyus, wears a marvellous robe embroidered with famous lovers; when her father conceives a sinful passion for her she is set adrift in a boat and comes ashore in Galys, where the king marries her. His mother's lies drive Emare and her child into exile at sea again, until a penitent pilgrimage to Rome reunites the whole family.
