The First Part of King Henry the Fourth
The Percy family, who helped Henry IV to the throne, rise against him, led by the fiery Hotspur. Meanwhile the king's son, Prince Hal, wastes his days in Eastcheap taverns with the fat knight Sir John Falstaff and his thieving companions. Hal at last turns to honour, takes up arms for his father, and kills Hotspur at the battle of Shrewsbury.
