Death & Dying
Friendship's Epitaph
Translated by Rennell Rodd (1916) · From Love, Worship and Death (1916)
Death & Dying

Shall be of our great friendship a witness unto all.
Ever shall I desire thee, and thou, if this may be,
Forbear to drink among the dead the lethe-draft for me.
