Anonymous (Greek Anthology)
The Greek Anthology is the great collection of some four thousand short Greek poems, mostly epigrams, written between the archaic age and the Byzantine Middle Ages. Its main source is the tenth-century Palatine manuscript, itself built on earlier anthologies by Meleager, Philippus and Agathias.
This file gathers the epigrams in Books I–VI of W. R. Paton's prose translation (Loeb, 1916) whose author is not named, is not dated in Paton's index of authors, or is disputed. Where Paton names a possible author, the note on the poem says so.
