Nature

(The words are put in the mouth of the Emperor ) Bowman, lord of the Muses, far-shooter Phoebus, tell thy sister to arouse the mighty beasts just enough for them to touch men’s bodies lightly and make the people cry out for pleasure in holy tones. Let me not, who sit on the throne of Jove the Merciful, look upon a man’s death.
