Epigram 2 (Mountioy, among the labours of my pen,)
From Chrestoleros (1598), Book 4
Social Commentaries
Mountioy, among the labours of my pen,
Which my glad muse aspireth to present,

Of thee as patron and high president,
If any had, these had bin worthy best.
But since all are, these are vnworthy least.
