From Chrestoleros (1598), Book 2
Social Commentaries
Misus, thy wealth will quickly breath away,
Thine honestie is shorter then thy breath,
Thy flesh will fall, how can it longer stay,
Which is so ripe and mellow after death?
Yet while thou liu'st men make of thee a iest.
Heere lies olde Misus soule, lockt in his chest.
