Living

Epigram LXIV

by Bhartrihari traditionally 5th–7th century AD

Translated by Paul Elmer More (1898) · From A Century of Indian Epigrams (1898)

Living

Here nothing is, and nothing there,
And nothing fronts me wheresoe'er;
And reckoning all I find the whole
Mere nothing, nothing — save the reckoning soul.
