Love

CIII: Briefly, the sesterces all, give back, full quantity, Silo

by Gaius Valerius Catullus c. 84 – c. 54 BC

Translated by Robinson Ellis (1871) · From The Poems and Fragments of Catullus (1871)

Love

Briefly, the sesterces all, give back, full quantity, Silo,
Then be a bully beyond exorability, you:
Else, if money be all, O cease so lewdly to practise
Bawd, yet bully beyond exorability, you.
