To Sir Robert Hilliard
From A Chain of Golden Poems (1658)
Relationships
Who made this Distich it is fit I tell,
Which I have English'd but indifferent well;
I think Tom Randolph: Pardon what's amiss
In my translation for my gift of his;
Whom you and I so well did love and know,
When Cambridge (for his wit) extol'd him so.
