Nature

South winds jostle them

by Emily Dickinson 1830–1886

Nature

South winds jostle them,
Bumblebees come,
Hover, hesitate,
Drink, and are gone.

Butterflies pause
On their passage Cashmere;
I, softly plucking,
Present them here!
