Nature

Needlework: Then the Wind Blew

by Hazel Hall 1886–1924

From Curtains (1921)

Nature

The tops of trees rest my eyes,
Especially the tips of old, dark firs
When they rebel against the small manipulations
Of even air currents,
And leap at the sky.
