Of Cinna [PVre Cinna gets his wife a maiden Cooke]
From The Most Elegant and Witty Epigrams (1618), Book 4
Social Commentaries
PVre Cinna gets his wife a maiden Cooke
With red cheeks, yellow locks, & cheerfull looke.
What might he meane hereby? I hold my life,
She dresseth flesh for him, not for his wife.
