History & Politics

WOuld you know why sequester'd Cavaliers
(Like Haberdashers shops that vent smal wares)
Wear so much Ribbon? Who before were forc'd
To flye from Naseby ragged and unhors'd?
The State took care for them that since their fall,
They should be drest in Haberdashers-hall.
