Love
According to Eternal Laws
From Works and Life, ed. Forster, vol. VIII (1876)

According to eternal laws
('Tis useless to inquire the cause)
The gates of fame and of the grave
Stand under the same architrave,
So I would rather some time yet
Play on with you, my little pet!
