Love
On Another
From Works and Life, ed. Forster, vol. VIII (1876)
Love
Why have the Graces chosen me
To write what all they love must see?
I can not tell you for my life.
But why was Venus Vulcan's wife?
The reason must be just the same;
My verses are not much more lame.
